Cheer/Gymnastics

Our mentor in life Daisaku Ikeda said “A pyramid isn’t built from the top down. The apex is attained only by laying strong foundation stones, one by one. The same is true of achieving a lofty objective. The crucial thing is to lay the first stone, to take the first step.” If you’re interested in doing stunts, pyramids, basket tosses, jumps, turns, kicks, cartwheels, back flips, roundhouses or just plain high energy while developing a high life condition- CHEER/GYMNASTICS is for you!

In addition to the three pillars of our Buddhist practice of faith, practice, and study, cheer/gymnastics developed three principals specifically for our group to honor.

1) Unity: As we challenge our lives towards July 10, 2010, we need to be united as “many in body and one in mind” to have complete victory in EVERY aspect of our lives!

2) Commitment: This group relies on each other for growth to continually build our stunts and pyramids. We require steady attendance so that we can continue advancing. Each person is precious and is very important to our group.

3) Trust: We trust that you will catch me when I fall. Figuratively and literally.

Although prior cheerleading, tumbling/gymnastics, and stunt experience is preferred, it is definitely not required at all. However, we do request that you be committed to a wonderful team to offer positive words of encouragement to one another, have a willingness to never be defeated, and have the desire to be a part of an inspiring group that is going to “rock their era to it’s core”! We would love to have more youth division bodhisattvas of the Earth like you to emerge and join our group!

NOTE: There is an age requirement. For the safety of our members, we request that all participants are at least 16 years of age.
